Just a guy who loves a good story.

And the people who make it worth telling.

A journalist by training, creative by nature and a people person through and through.

About Me

Howdy, I'm Wes Herman!

I've always loved a good story. Even more than that, I've loved the people behind them.

My journey started in broadcast journalism, cutting my teeth behind a camera on Friday night football fields and working in busy newsrooms. Since then, I've worn a few different hats — journalist, editor, photographer, marketer and people leader. From coordinating coverage for the USA TODAY Network to documenting literacy and mission work in Guatemala, I've learned that the best stories aren't necessarily the biggest or loudest. They're the ones that make us feel something, bring us together and remind us what matters.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me with a camera, a guitar or a good record spinning. I love the outdoors, meaningful conversations, a little country soul and finding beauty in the everyday.

Faith is at the heart of how I try to live and work. I believe God gives each of us gifts, opportunities and people to care for along the way. My goal is to use what I've been given with purpose, work wholeheartedly and treat others with genuine love and respect. I don't always get it right, but I believe there's something meaningful about showing up, serving others and doing your best with what's in front of you.

That's really where Herman Creative comes in.

It's more than a name or a creative outlet. It's an opportunity to combine the things I love into work that serves a greater purpose.

The mission is simple: Help good people doing good work be seen and heard.

And the philosophy behind it is even simpler:

Work hard. Love people.
